  • 1. Is the red light on?

    A

    The red light on the powered head will illuminate to indicate there is a blockage

    Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket

    Using scissors remove any threads or hair from around the brushbar and clear any dirt or debris from powered head

    Switch the power back on to position 2 

    The brush will spin and a green light on the powered head will illuminate

    No improvement?

  • 3. Unusual noise?

    Remove the dirt container and switch the machine on

    Noise still there?

    No?

    Go to 'Suction' for advice on how to clean the filters and check for blockages

  • 4. Brushes not turning?

    A

    Ensure the on/off switch is set to mode 2 for Carpets

    No improvement?

    Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket

    Using scissors remove any threads or hair from around the brushbar and clear any dirt or debris from powered head and retry

    No improvement?

    Go to 'Red light'

     
  • 5. No power for 24 hours?

    A

    Has the fuse been changed? If not, please replace the fuse in the plug with another 13 amp fuse

    Fuse changed and still no power?

    A

    The machine is equipped with a safety thermal cut out, which is designed to activate if the air cannot flow through the machine as it should. Allow 24 hours for the machine to cool down thoroughly, in the meantime go to 'Suction' for advice on how to clear the blockage.

    Are the filters clean?

    A

    Remove the dirt container

    Remove the filter out of the dirt container and tap to get all of the dust off

    Rinse the filter under the tap (max 40 degrees, no detergent) allow at least 24 hours for it to fully air dry before placing back in the machine

    Remove the separator from the dirt container

    Inspect for blockages, clear debris and place back in the machine

    Still no suction from handheld?

    Suction fine from handheld, but poor from powered head?

    Go to 'Are there any blockages?'

    Remove the  powered head and wand from the handheld

     Drop a small ball of paper down the top of the wand

     Is the paper stuck?

     Yes?

     There is a blockage and this will need to be removed

     No?

     Go to 'Brushbar - Brushes not turning?'

    Is the suction strong from the motor?

    A

    Remove the dirt container and switch the machine on

    Hold a piece of paper over the vent located behind the dirt container

    Suction strong?

    Go to 'Are the filters clean?'

    No?
