Dirt Devil recognises that cleaning is a chore and so it is important to do as much as possible to make this everyday chore as easy and as quick as possible. This is the reason why we have the philosophy of "High Power AND Easy Cleaning " in our logo. High power makes a better performing vacuum cleaner and at Dirt Devil we also think about how customers will use a vacuum cleaner. Therefore, we also think about the problems that our customers encounter and how we can fix them.
The DCC017 combines our "No Reduction in Suction" technology together with a higher power motor. Therefore you have continuous suction providing a better cleaning performance.
In addition, we also include an amazingly large 5.5L dust collection canister - which also has our unique Microban anti bacterial ingredient built in. For added protection, the pre motor filter also has Microban built in and even our exhaust filter is a high grade HEPA filter.
The cleaner includes a dual action floorhead - ideal for both hardfloors and carpets saving you time between floor surfaces. If, however, you also have a delicate hardfloor, the DCC017 also has a hardlfoor brush - which has long bristles which protect your hardfloors when you are vacuuming.
The Pet Hair Turbo Brush is also included which is perfect for collecting Pet Hairs from sofas and chairs and also great for use in the car.
Finally, we also include a brush which we call a "Fabric Brush". The brush is absolutely perfect for use in beds and on curtains as it has a inner protective covering which allows the air, dirt and little dust mites to pass through but stops the sheets and bed covers from being sucked up into the cleaner- in the annoying way that this can sometimes happen. The result of this that as well as being great for beds, it is also perfect for use on the curtains. You may want to call it the "doesn't-suck-anything-up-into-the-tube" brush.
Of course, the next problem you have is how and where to store all of these extra brushes. Well, we also provide you with a handy mesh bag with tie strings at the top. This bag can store all of your tools in one tidy - easy to reach place which can then just be hung on a clothes peg or back of the door.
